Nashville musician plays private concert – Indy exclusive

Dana Cooper, a veteran Nashville songwriter and performer, stopped off in Amarillo Sunday evening to perform at a private backyard party.

Cooper, who had just completed a gig in the Hill Country, came through Amarillo on his way to Nashville where he will rehearse for an Aug. 1 concert in Kansas City, Mo.

He will open for Lyle Lovett, Cooper said.

Lovett’s website lists Cooper as his special guest at the Midland Theater.
